Our hero, Clyde Blanton, passed away on October 4th, 2023 at 99 years of age. He helped save the world during World War II through his service in the United States Navy, where he earned the Bronze Star. In his memory, we are asking for donations to support the construction of a wall in Ashland, Kentucky, that will honor those who served from our county in WWII. Your support is greatly appreciated and will be delivered personally by Josh Blanton, Clyde’s grandson. Thank you so much.
