Clyde’s Emergency Surgery

Hello! My name is Shellie and I am Clyde’s mom! He is my sweet baby boy that I brought home three and a half years ago. Since the moment I laid eyes on him, I knew he would forever be a part of my family! He was so tiny and malnourished. He weighed less than 3lbs!! I bottle fed him every 3-4hrs around the clock, taking him to emergency vets ensuring his survival!! And he grew and grew and GREW!! Lol. Now he is a tall, handsome boy, weighing 23lbs! He doesn’t care about other people, dogs, squirrels, cars, just his mom and dad!! OH AND HIS TOY BALL!!!!!!! Oh yes… Clyde will fetch and play ball until he collapses! I have to make him stop! He absolutely loves his toys!! He also thinks every package that comes in the house is for him… yep!! We can’t open a single package without Clyde trying to open it first! Lol It could be toilet paper… but to Clyde, that is his!! Until he realizes it’s just toilet paper! :) He loves to be held and refuses to be told no… so he will unexpectedly just leap into your arms. So be ready… Clyde is going to jump up!! He also has a memory of an elephant- he will NOT forget about anything!! If you take his toy and put it on top of the fridge… days later our little guy will still leap into your arms trying his hardest to reach the heights of the fridge to see if his toy is still there. He is the biggest cuddler … I cannot even get into bed without him being in my spot… he’s like a bump on a log that your can’t budge!! ;) He sleeps like a human too, right on my pillow!! Aw.. Clyde!! Sweet lil Clyde!!
Why am I telling you all this about Clyde?? Because Clyde needs your help! Right now Clyde is at an emergency animal hospital, where he has undergone emergency surgery for an intestinal blockage. He made it through the surgery 2 days ago, but now is having complications after the surgery. He cannot keep food down. So more radiographs, more bloodwork, and no answers. So far, we are at $7000 and rising. The vets seemed to be stumped and have not been able to give us a real answer as to what is happening with our baby boy. What I do know is that we need to raise money for Clyde! His partner in crime Bonnie is lost at home without him!! And so are we!! Whatever you can donate to the Veterinary Hospital in Clyde’s name would be a blessing !! Thank you for taking the time to read. Please share this with others if you can and god bless!
