Northcentral PA ATV Initiative
Donation protected
The Central Mountains ATV Association (CMATVA), the Clinton County Commissioners, and the Clinton County Economic Partnership Tourism Board are working together to design and promote approximately 1,500 miles of additional ATV riding within North Central Pennsylvania. To date we have about 800 legal miles of ATV riding. The Initiative is about connecting the four state trail systems together in north central PA. We are targeting to compete against other states for ATV tourism.
CMATVA has agreed to provide and install signage for municipalities that open their roads to ATVs. Although Pennsylvania’s Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) will be supplying some signage, a large quantity of specialty signs will need purchased by CMATVA.
Funding will continue throughout the year for the signage.
Progress updates can be found on CMATVA's club web page (www.cmatva.org ) under the NCPA Initiative tab.
CENTRAL MOUNTAINS ALL-TERRAIN VEHICLE ASSOCIATION, INC. (CMATVA, Inc.) is a 501(c)(3) organization – contributions to which are tax deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law.
