Family loses everything in devastating House fire

Hi my name is Gail, I am fundraising for my Grandchildren and family as they have lost everything in a devastating house fire on the 30th of December 2023. Days prior they had no Christmas lunch due to having no power from storms Christmas Eve. The power was restored the night before the house fire. Daughter in law woke and went to the kitchen to find the lounge and dining room engulfed in flames half way up the walls. Smoke alarms did not activate. Daughter in law woke children and ran to the backyard for safety. Neighbours called emergency services and helped with their hoses to try contain fire from spreading but sadly everything was lost. Children’s Christmas presents, clothing, toys and other belongings were all lost. Family was transported to hospital with smoke inhalation but have since been released and are staying in a motel with only the clothes on their back.

We would just like some help with any donations to help the family to try and rebuild and get through this traumatic ordeal.

They had only just moved in 3weeks ago and were so happy for a new start. We appreciate any help what so ever for my family and grandchildren.
