Frank's fight against Cancer

On Thursday February 8 my family received the worst news we have ever had to bare. The core of our family, our fun-loving, jokester, healthy, and happy dad went into the ER and was told he had a tumor on his liver. The next day a biopsy was done and our family gathered together and hoped for the best. On February 14th we received a call from the Oncolgist. He said my Dad had been diagnosed with Stage 4 Adenocarcinoma. He said that it most likely did not originate in his liver but had metastasized there and there was potential it started in his pancreas. He said that his bile ducts were being effected and we had to move quickly.  In the past week Frank's wife, kids, sisters, in-laws, and grandkids, have come together to fight this in many ways. We have put him on an all vegan, raw diet to make sure we are not feeding into the cancer. We have taken on whatever cancer killing remedies we have found and moved forward with them full force. We have been informed that this is advanced and beyond surgery but we are determined to beat this and win. We will. We have been guided by trusting Oncologists to do alternative treatments which are unfortunately extremely expensive and not covered by insurance. We are asking for prayers and support for those who have the means to help us fund these treatments.  My dad has the fight in him, so let's get him the help he needs to beat this.  Peace and Love The Grippo Family.
