Our Family Needs Help

UPDATE: Today things aren’t looking good. They are giving her 48 hours to show signs of response. They have woken her up several times with no awareness. She is awake and her eyes are open but she isn’t there.. We are praying for a miracle she will pull out of it in these next 2 days.. If not it’s time for our family to make a decision. PLEASE keep our family in our thought. We are so broken right now. Our family needs help with our mother whose name is Daphne. Christmas morning we got a call that she experienced a fall and was in critical condition in the ICU unit at Saint Charles Hospital. Over these last couple days more evidence has came about that this was in fact purposely done to her. This wasn’t  accidental nor was it a fall that caused this kind of damage to her. She was rushed into surgery December 26 to have most of her skull removed to make room for her brain to swell or she was going to die. Her skull was broken in multiple places. She has a 50/50 chance of surviving and even if she does she will need assistance for the rest of her life. We are asking for help from our amazing community that way we have the funds to cover whatever needs to be done whether that is a funeral and cremation or the care she is going to need if she survives. We are also asking for assistance to pay for hotels for family members coming from out of town.
Our mom has a wonderful heart and is a good person nobody deserves this done to them. There is somebody in custody for the assault on her. We don’t know the truth right now what happened to her, but justice will be served.
