My father, Robert Belvin is currently in the hospital fighting throat cancer and will be out of commission for awhile. His bills will need to be paid for him while he goes to chemo.

He was also in a near-fatal car accident in September. An aggressive driver ran him off the road and slammed into a tree I-40. Several witnesses stopped and pulled my dad out of his burning truck and gave testimonies to law enforcement about the driver who caused the wreck.

My father being a caring person, swerved off the road to avoid rear-ending the aggressive driver at a high speed. The last thing he remembered was being airlifted to the hospital. He sustained 2nd and 3rd degree burns on his hands and head and had a fracture in his neck and ribs. Through an act of God, not only did he survive but he is almost back on his feet and at work. The DOT has been investigating this accident trying to figure out how he survived as the vast majority of crash victims died in similar accidents such as his. Truly the Lord saying "What is impossible with man, IS possible with Me!".

The cancer discovery was just before Christmas.

Robert Belvin taught me the meaning of sacrifice and servitude to others. He would NEVER ask for help like this but he needs it. If you know my dad, he's independent and is usually the one helping others in need.
