CMU Rugby Playoffs

The CMU Men's team was selected last second to fill a spot in the USA Rugby DII Playoffs this weekend. The Playoffs take place at Furman University in South Carolina. As we are a self-funded club, a last minute trip across the country will be almost exclusively be funded by our own players. We will need money for gas, (its a 12 hour drive!), as well as money for lodging and various other expenses. We are extremely grateful to be in this position and to be able to represent the CMU Exiles on the national stage.
The Exiles went 5-2 this season, ending on a 5 game win streak! we are fully prepared to take home some hardware and extremely thankful for any donation we receive!
We will be playing UMASS-Lowell at Noon.
We are budgeting for
Hotels, Gas and other expenses.
Hotels: best western in Furman is $86 a night. 4 rooms would equal $344.
Gas: trip to Furman University is 789 miles.
Estimated cost per car is $200 there and $200 back. x5 cars =$2,000.
Total amount we are looking for is $2,500.
