Kim Nguyen Funeral & Children’s Educational Needs

Dear family and friends,

Our beloved mother passed away in a way that no one should ever have to go through. She was cherished by her mother, one daughter, 3 sons, a sister, a nephew, and so many friends who all loved her immensely.

Not only did she raise two young boys in a country foreign to her own, but she also did it as a single mother. She was always the kind of person to put out and help others way more than she ever received back. She was our superhero.

We have set up this GoFundMe to help with funeral expenses as we want to make sure that our dear mother has all that she needs. Anything extra will go towards a separate account for her two teenage children as they've lost their mother while still in high school, and this will help them immensely to support them with higher education after high school, a dream she held dearly for them. Our mother didn't get to save much for them and was always living one day at a time because of how much our stepdad kept taking from her.

We know that she has so many friends that loved her and have been asking how they can help. So please forward this to them if you can. Your support and generosity will help us give our mother the dignified farewell she deserves and ensure that her legacy lives on through her children's education. If you were ever affected by domestic violence or know someone who has, please donate! Our mother sacrificed herself because she feared that we would be harmed if she did not listen. From the constant beatings to not being allowed to see her family, it is a true tragedy that such a kind-hearted soul was taken from us.

Funeral Information:

To all that knew our mom and to all the friends that I have on here whose parents knew her. We will be having a memorial service for our mom on Sunday, February 4th at Ratterman's on New cut. Address is 7336 Southside Dr, Louisville, KY 40214. It will be open to the public from 11:30am-8pm.

The funeral will be Monday, February 5th. We will post more details on this as I know more.

Please help me share this with anyone that you know that knows and loves my dear mother. She had so many friends in her life, and I don't think I will be able to pass on this message myself to all of them. So any help would this is greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.
