Help Save Champ’s Life!

Hi! My name is Cassidy and I’ve worked in rescue for roughly four years. Along the way I have met many great people. One being my close friend Candace. Her 10 month old pittie puppy, Champ, started exhibiting some weird behaviors. He was needing water all the time, and doing anything to get to it. Quickly this progressed into him becoming lethargic Friday 4/19. On Saturday 4/20 Champ was seen by one of my vets and had some bloodwork ran. It came back positive today 4/22 that he is in kidney failure. Since he’s so young, we’re hoping it’s acute failure. He’s been admitted to the vet’s hospital and is under constant surveillance and is being pushed fluids and the appropriate medications. This is the only chance Champ has at survival. We’re really optimistic that doing this for him will help him recover from this and get him on the mend. Champ is such a young, playful, friendly to all people and animals kind of dog. He came to Candace at one of the most trying times in her life and he means the world to her. Please help us save Champ!
