CNMES Engine Shed Project

CNMES is the City of Newport Engineering Society and we are a members club. We run the Miniature Railway at the Glebelands and open to the public to enjoy rides on our trains on the first Saturday of each month from March to October with some Specials in between. We started to build our much needed Engine Shed a few years ago and we are struggling to finish it due to costs of materials soaring. We have a base and the metal structure erected but no walls or roof. Our members have many skills and we carry out all the work ourselves but we need to fund the materials we need.
