Help caring for my disabled mother

Im 26 and ive been taking care of my mother who has Lupus and a seizure disorder by myself for 8 years.
We lived on Kauai for 5 years and had to leave because medical care for people with serious Auto Immune Disorders is horrible and she almost lost her life multiple times. We just moved back to California so she can receive better medical care. Her illness has reached the point where it requires that I am a stay at home caregiver. I am paid by the state very minimally each month which is enough to maintain rent but not enough for a security deposit on a permanent solution. Currently we are living day by day finding whatever cheap motels we can find. Once we find permanent housing my pay from the state will increase but until then her medical insurance coordinator can only "allow" a small amount of hours because we're living in a motel indefinitely. We just need a tiny boost to get us back on track. Please help us!
