Coach Goldman’s Family Needs Your Help
Donation protected
Dear Friends and South Shore Family,
We are reaching out to you with heavy hearts and a hopeful spirit. The Goldman family has faced more than their share of hardship over the years. Valerie's husband, Steve (Coach Goldman), passed away a few years ago, leaving a profound void in the lives of those who knew him. Steve was a beloved baseball coach and football coach at South Shore High School, where he taught not only the sports but also invaluable life lessons to countless students.
Now, Valerie is confronted with another heart-wrenching challenge. Her son, Gary, has been diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), a debilitating disease that has drastically altered their lives. In addition to caring for Gary, Valerie is also raising their grandson, who has been with them since birth.
Valerie and Steve have always been a pillar of support and compassion to our South Shore family and beyond. Despite her own grief and struggles, she has continued to provide for her family with unwavering dedication. However, the financial and emotional burden of caring for Gary, coupled with raising her grandson, has become overwhelming.
We are asking for your help to support Valerie in this difficult time. Your donations will go towards medical expenses, home modifications to accommodate Gary's needs, and everyday essentials for their grandson. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant impact on their lives.
Let us come together as a community, just as Valerie and Steve have done for so many of us over the years. Your generosity will not only provide much-needed financial relief but also remind Valerie that she is not alone in this fight.
Thank you for your kindness and support.
