Coach Hammond's Retirement
Coach Jeff Hammond is retiring after 34 seasons of coaching varsity boys Soccer at Fayetteville-Manlius. Coach Hammond has led the Hornets to tremendous success over the years with an overall record to date of 500 wins, 110 loses, and 33 ties, ranking him 3rd in career wins in Section 3 history and #11 in New York State history. Under Coach Hammond's guidance, the Hornets have won 23 league titles and 14 sectional championships. Hammond has earned 21 league coach of the year awards; 7 times has been named Section 3 Coach of the Year; 3 time All-CNY Coach of the Year and 2 time New York State Coach of the Year.
Most importantly, Coach Hammond has played an important role in the lives of hundreds of F-M soccer players over the years. Coach Hammond's mentoring and guidance to his players has been remarkable. To show our genuine appreciation and thanks to Coach we are raising money to send him and his wife to Pebble Beach for a golf vacation, a fully paid trip from his former players and coaches. We hope that this retirement gift will symbolize the tremendous amount of gratitude we have for Coach. Below are the details of what the trip will entail:

We will present this gift to Coach at halftime of his last home game this Fall on October 15th, please come join us if you can. Additionally please make a note to Coach under your donation and we will present to Coach each and every note from everyone that donates to this amazing trip. This is all a surprise so please keep it secret.
