Coach James Corder

Coach Jim Corder is the PE teacher for the Eagleridge Enrichment Program in Mesa, Arizona. He has been with the program for 3 years now and in that time has developed wonderful relationships with students and families in the community. Furthermore, and more importantly, Coach is a loving father and provider to his daughter Payton and fiancé Angie. He has struggled with diabetes for a long time and it currently has taken control of his health and wellness. Due to a lack of insurance, he was not able to receive the care needed early enough to prevent further damage to his body. Unfortunately, surgery on his feet was needed to remove infected areas and attempt to heal broken bones. Doctors have reported the damage to be too significant for Coach Corder to return to work at this time and future surgeries are most likely. He is not paid for his time away from the program and he is struggling to get the care he needs and provide for his family. Coach is a team player who always thinks of and cares for those around him.
