Coach Jeff's Mum, Celia Mangilog Ferrer

Everyone at Maroochy Beach Gymnastics knows Coach Jeff and many will know how much his family mean to him, despite the physical distance to the Philippines.

Over this last weekend (29/30th July 2023) Jeff received the devastating news that his beloved Mum had passed away unexpectedly.

Many have expressed a desire to assist Jeff and his family at this time as they face both grief and unexpected financial costs. We would love for the Maroochy Beach Gymnastics Community to band together to help Jeff give his Mum the send-off she deserves.

With Jeff being an only child raised primarily by his loving mother, the responsibility and all costs weigh heavily on his shoulders. We at Maroochy Beach would like to help lift some of this weight from his shoulders at this time.

Our aim is specifically to assist with the cost of flights for Jeff, his wife and 3 youngest children to the Philippines, as well as the cost of the funeral itself.
