Coach JoJo's recovery and expenses
Hi everyone, I'm fundraising for Coach JoJo.
Coach JoJo was brutally attacked by his neighbor and suffered a traumatic brain injury late Friday night.
He's been in the Intensive Care Unit since early Saturday morning waiting for swelling to go down enough for surgery. Thank God, he's in surgery now (Sun 11/26 morning). Please pray for his surgeons! Please pray for his full recovery, and please pray for his children and family!
For anyone who doesn't know Coach JoJo, let me tell you about this inspirational man my kids have had the blessing of being coached and mentored by!
Coach JoJo is there for All of “his kids”. & He stays- Varsity, jv, and freshman, even college- because one of his kids he's mentored is playing.
I asked him one time why he was at all of the games. His response was: "because I always want these kids to know someone is there for them, that I'm there for them forever, not just when they're on my team. When I mentor kids, I'm here for them for life"
He is vocal and loud and so encouraging! He cheers all his kids on. He picks them up and takes them to everything! Games, practices, team events, dinner, lunch, his house, workouts, anything they need! They know Coach will always be there for them!
He's the coach we all needed! He's an amazing dad, and kind human. & He's made such an impact on our children's lives!
Please help us raise money to help his family with bills and surviving financially during this unbelievably scary and stressful time.
The attacker was their neighbor, and the police have not caught him yet- so funds to help them live somewhere they'll feel safe while this person is caught and brought to justice.
Coach JoJo will have a very long healing process & will need all of our help- from medical bills, to regular bills, groceries, and childcare.
He's been taking care of us for years! It's our turn to step up and help him and his family!
