Coach Mac (Cory McLaughlin)

In late October before a JCA football playoff game, our beloved Coach Cory “Mac” McLaughlin suffered a stroke on the sideline. Coach Mac is also suffering with dementia. Over the past month, Coach Mac has been progressing at St. Joe’s Medical Center, and in good spirits communicating with his friends and fellow JCA coaches. However, he will need to be placed in a long-term care/retirement facility in order to continue his rehab. Coach Mac’s teacher’s pension and health insurance will not be enough to cover the initial costs of moving into his new home, until the sale of his house can be completed in the next few months. Please help contribute to a man who has done so much for our community over the past 40 years at Joliet Catholic Academy.
