Coach Paul Calderone Memorial Scholarship

Paul Calderone was a North Pocono alumnus and player on the first high school football team. He returned to North Pocono for his professional career as a teacher for 35 years football coach for 37 years. Paul was on the sideline for some of the most storied events in North Pocono Football history, and he is fondly remembered as a teacher and coach by generations of students and players. He was committed to excellence in academics and helping out in the community.

For my brother and me, Dad was more than our coach. We want to honor his legacy and can think of no better way to recognize our dad, Coach Calderone, with a memorial scholarship. The planned award will recognize a graduating North Pocono Football Player who excels in the areas that Coach Calderone felt were most important: Academics, Citizenship, and Athletics.
