Coach Philly's Memorial Fund

My name is Chelsy, and I am fundraising in an effort to support Philly's family and Funeral/Memorial costs during this difficult time. Please read below:

It is with heavy hearts that we share with our community the unexpected passing of our beloved Coach Philly.

When Philly first joined the Elite Gymnastics Academy (EGA) Family in 2016, we knew he was going to move mountains -- His passion for this sport was inspiring to both fellow coaches and athletes. We could see, as he walked in the gym on day one, that he belonged. He loved talking about new drill ideas, the accomplishments of his athletes, and what each individual was working on to achieve their goals. Philly quickly became a big part of the USA Gymnastics and Trampoline & Tumbling community.

Philly will be remembered as being the Coach who put a smile on each child's face as he greeted them by name with a high-five or a fist bump and dedicated his time to know each athlete and help them achieve their goals. He exuded humility, kindness, happiness, and positivity to everyone in his reach. He was a beacon of light both in and outside of the gym. We feel so blessed to have known him. We will miss him deeply.

Philly was one of a kind and we know his memory and legacy will live on in our community.
