Coach Sam needs our help

Coach Sam Harnsongkram is a legend in the state of Louisiana, and has positively influenced the lives and career outcomes of thousands of his former students and wrestlers. He is a treasure to all who know him, a man of faith, loyalty, and integrity.

Coach Sam is in a moment of need.  His wife, Phyllis, was diagnosed many years ago with early onset Parkinson's.  The past few months have seen a decay in her condition, rendering Phyllis unable to care for herself, and leaving her bed and chair bound. The past few years have been difficult financially as well. Sam is in a small community in Mississippi without much support, so he is the sole caretaker. At 80, you can imagine the physical and mental toll this all takes.

Sam has served others for so long, and this is an opportunity to return his love and guidance with financial support to address some simple needs that would make a world of difference (i.e. meal delivery, tractor service for his property, better care-taking tools to help Sam maneuver her, etc.). Anyone who wrestled on one of Sam’s teams knows his sacrifice and genius as a man for others. Thank you.
