Coach to 5k
My name is Georgia and I am co-owner of The Mill Gymnastics Academy. In December 2020 we found out that one of our long standing coaches, Eden, had been diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Eden turned 20 last month. She is currently undergoing chemotherapy to help fight her illness.
We wanted to help, so I decided to start the Couch to 5K programme. We want to raise money in aid of Lymphoma Action but also awareness and spread positivity. This is why we have launched Coach to 5k and have a target of £5k for 5k.
I have never ran before and am a complete beginner. Once I have completed the programme we plan to get 5000 gymnasts, coaches, friends and family to all run my first 5k with me, all from their own towns and villages.
