Coastal Makers LLC Covid Relief

Boy oh boy... This is not exactly what I had in mind for our first year in a brick & mortar! We have had so much fun in our 6 short months in the happiest place in downtown Mobile! But our little place of happy does not, unfortunately, qualify for the state and federal grants. No PPP, no PUA, not even the Chamber grants. We are considered a micro-business, and essentially still a start up at that....  If you are in a position to and would like to help us keep the door open for when this storm settles, we would forever be grateful.  What we need is 100 individuals willing to donate just  $10 each to help us with rent expenses.  (Donations are TAX DEDUCTIBLE.) This will go directly to our amazing landlord (also a small business owner) who has been very patient with us during this time. When we meet  $500 in donations, The GoFundMe Coronavirus Small Business Relief Initiative will match it with another $500.  If we meet our $1000 goal, we are ELIGIBLE, but not guaranteed, to receive a $500 grant from our local Downtown Mobile Alliance, a non-profit organization.  We really need to meet both of these goals. Please consider helping us during this time so that we may continue to bring a creative environment for all persons to downtown Mobile and the Eastern Shore area. Without this, our future in our brick and mortar is very uncertain.  We love being downtown Mobile and still have so many new people to meet and create with! Plus our regular fans are missing their favorite happy place. All persons who donate, will receive their $10 back from us, in a voucher to use on whatever they want in the studio, towards art work, a class, a private party,  or open studio time and kits.  Whatever. We don't care what you use it on :)  We just want you to know you are valued and appreciated so very much during this time.
