Coastal Walking Marathon for Sunderland Mind

Join us on our 25.7mile coastal walk to raise money for the incredible Sunderland Mind Charity.

“You don’t need to go to the ends of the earth, you don’t need to climb Everest to have a great adventure, it’s invariably on our doorstep.” Bear Grylls

Starting in Hartlepool and ending in Roker, we'll walk along the beautiful North East Coastline with the aim of raising funds for Sunderland Mind Charity.

Whether you are a Wellness Space member, an advocate for positive mental health or a member of the community, we welcome you alone, with friends and family.

ABOUT THE WALK:
The 25.7mile walk will be a challenge for us all, but challenges help us build resilience, they boost mood, encourage mental growth and increase our confidence. It will be tough, but worth the feeling of accomplishment and it's for a great cause too.

Sunderland Mind is an independent mental health charity proving advice, support, information and counselling for people coping with or recovering from mental health issues. We can think of lots of reasons why we should fundraise for Sunderland Mind, but we're sure you'll agree the most important is because nobody should face a mental health problem alone. With events such as these, Sunderland Mind can give people away forward, help them to understand their options and get support and know that they're not alone.
