Cobbydale Forge Community Defibrillator

Cobbydale Forge is a thriving community gym in the heart of Silsden, West Yorkshire. With a passion for health, fitness and performance we are always striving to be the best service for our customers and our community.

Cobbydale serves a large and diverse population, from young adults to seniors, many of whom come to exercise to maintain their health and wellness. Unfortunately, sudden cardiac arrest can occur at any time, even during exercise. Having an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) on-site can save a life in such an emergency. The AED will be placed in a prominent location that is easily accessible to staff, members and the community.

Being a gym that has over 550 members currently training here, we must be best prepared, should an emergency occur. Our closest AED is inside a facility, meaning it is not accessible at all times and the next closest AED is a walk/run away, which could quite literally be the difference between life and death.

This fundraiser will cover the cost of the initial purchase of the Automated External Defibrillator, and it will then cost an extra £360.00 per year to maintain and commit to the subscription.
