Seeking Help For Coco’s Cancer Removal

Hi, my name is Coco! I am a mixed breed shelter pup who was rescued by my dad when I was a few months old. I want to explain the reason for this GoFund me as well as give you a little backstory on who I am. I was recently diagnosed with a form of thyroid cancer. Due to my dads recent health issues of his own and the price of my surgery, mom is pretty worried about how to pay for all of this and she finds it very hard to ask for any help, but she has concluded $10k is not doable for her right now and needs to ask for help. We are asking for any help we can receive to get me healthy again. Mom tried all the options from insurance to cards, etc, but no luck.

My doctor believes if the tumor is removed that I will make a full recovery despite being 11 years old. My doctor said that I have nothing else wrong with me and for my age I still get around perfectly and seem like a much younger dog with lots of life left. With this info she believes once the cancer is removed my health will go back to normal. Mom and dad aren’t ready to let me go and I’m not ready to leave them yet. I still have a lot of training left to give my brother dog Payton before I go anywhere. I was gone for only a few hours to go to my appointment and when I got home Payton tore the trash up and opened all the bedroom doors looking for me. Safe to say he’s not ready for me to go either.
