Code 9 Officer Needs Assistance The Film

Donations will help in the completion of the documentary Code 9 - Officer Needs Assistance being co-produced by Deborah Louise Ortiz, the wife of a retired State Trooper suffering from PTSD.


This powerful documentary will explore the darker side of law enforcement as it tells the stories of police officers and their families who are now suffering the mental anguish of the careers they chose, which has led some to suicide.


YOU CAN MAKE A REAL DIFFERENCE BY BACKING THIS FILM. This film's intent is to help raise public awareness to the tragedy that is occurring but it's main purpose is to reach out to those officers and their families who are suffering in silence. We want them to know that they are not ALONE and that there is HELP for them. We want the Departments to know that they need to start training these officers so that they never have to reach the POINT OF NO RETURN.

This film has been funded through contributions and we are in post production and on our way to completion.  It has always been this films intention to be made as a community. This is our film. Every contribution will be spent on making this film the best it can be and taking it as far as we can in an attempt to reach our first responders and families and the educate the public.
