Cody and Hally McKenna

My name is Dwayne Smith and I have the privilege to be the pastor of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Hope Mills, NC. This past Friday, Cody and Hally McKenna, a family that is a part of our church family and Hally is also a teacher at Liberty Christian Academy (currently on maternal leave) were involved in a serious car accident in which a car passed another vehicle in a no-passing lane and struck their vehicle head-on. Cody has a torn ACL but his wife Hally suffered fractures in her spine, neck, hip, pelvis, ribs, sternum, and foot and 17 sutures in her head. She was airlifted to UNC-Chapel and will be undergoing surgeries to repair the fractures and I am sure of many months of rehabilitation and recovery ahead. Thankfully, their newborn baby is fine.
