Cody and Karoline start over from house fire

Hi my name is Kristel Roland and I am the Mother of Cody Helton and Mother-in-law to his wife Karoline DeLima Helton. I’ve never seen myself creating a GoFundMe account, but when you see your children suffering and hurting you will do anything you can to help ease their pain and burden. Not counting the people that have already stepped forward with help and donations we have been extremely blessed with an outpouring of calls, texts, messages from people wanting to help them out and for that we are forever grateful! I thought this would be a good way for people who are generous enought to want to help them out to get back on their feet and start over. On the morning of December 23rd, my Son Cody Helton and his wife Karoline lives changed dramatically when an outside building next to the end of the house trailer they were renting caught fire and quickly went up in flames consuming the trailer home too which resulted in a total loss of everything except for some very personal belongings and a few clothes they could grab. Their main and only concern at the time was saving their 4 dogs Blue, Milo, Buddy and Sheila which they were able to do so and get theirselves out safely. Unfortunately though, they had no renters insurance and Cody lost every piece of tools, saws, drills, equipment that he used and needed to run his business with (approximately $10,000) since he is

self-employed in plumbing, remodeling, flooring, tile etc. His tools were all stored in the outside building where the fire started started and wasn’t able to recover any. His tools were his livelihood and how he made his living to support his family. Once again I want to thank everyone who has reached out with help in any form and I owe all the praise and glory to the good Lord for watching over my kids and their dogs and getting them out safely.
