As our family mourns the loss of my brother, I am asking for donations to help raise funds to cover the cost of his cremation. After an almost 2 year battle with kidney failure, he passed away 2 days after Christmas in his home with his daughters and fiancé

. Nothing in this world prepares you for the loss of a brother, father , son, cousin, nephew, friend or significant other. My brother wasn’t perfect, but he loved his girls with all of his heart, and did everything in his power to provide for them and their mother up until the very end.

Any funds raised beyond expenses for his final journey will go towards starting trusts for his daughters to help pay for their education. Any amount helps, so thank you in advance for your help. The family has not decided quite yet on when to plan a celebration of life, but plan to have one in the backyard us and our cousins grew up spending summer days and after school at our grandmothers, and an additional one in garrard county on his birthday in June.

Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy.
