My 6 year old grandson, Cody Allen Stahlbusch, was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes on New Year's Eve. When he was sent by ambulance to Dallas, his sugar level was at 861. The entire family is learning how to deal with this disease and trying to get his sugars regulated. There is a glucose meter on the market that would make his life so much easier but insurance will not cover it. It will do constant readings of his sugars and send those reading to multiple people. It will also eliminate the need to do finger sticks 4 plus times a day. If you can give, that is great! If you can pray, that is even better! We will get this meter one way or the other.
