Cody’s battle with RSV

Hi, my name is Ashlee. I work at a childcare center where Cody attends. He has been in my care for a year and a half. His family is experiencing the unthinkable. Right now, Cody(CJ) is fighting for his life.

Cody (CJ) just turned 2 years old on October 23rd. He is the youngest of 5 kids. A very sweet little boy!

He got RSV and Necrotizing Pneumonia. His left lung is damaged. Fluid and air are building up in the space outside of the lung thus collapsing the lung. The pneumonia has spread to the right lung as well now. They were life flighted to children’s hospital in Salt Lake city where they have more equipment for a higher level of care. Right now he is on life support and it is a touch and go and we need him to hang on and heal!

I am raising money for this family in hopes to lift the burden of day to day bills. We want to keep Cassandra and Cody with Cody(CJ) as long as possible without having to worry about keeping the lights on or providing for the other kids at home, whom their aunt is caring for during this time.
