Coffeeman needs cash.

As many mid coast folks are aware the Coffeeman has not been well. Doug Hufnagel, known by many as “Coffeeman” had a bad fall recently and broke his hip. He was able to have a hip replacement, but recovery will be slow. With winter coming to Maine some handicap accessibility updates need to be done to his house and driveway in order for him to be able to go home. If we could all contribute to this, he will be able to relax and not worry about reopening the Coffeeman stand this year. He needs to focus on getting well. Time to pay for all the free cups of coffee, the European lifestyle cafe conversations, and essentially support a mid coast Maine icon and friend. Doug has been many things over the years -reporter, columnist, entrepreneur, traveler, activist and most certainly a raconteur. We know so many people out there love the Coffeeman and we would like to give you the opportunity to help! It takes a village to support an elder. Let’s do this!
