Friends and family,

As most of you know by now, Dave and I are getting a divorce.  This has been a very difficult and challenging process for both myself and our children and not a “typical” divorce. 

During this time, my car was repossessed, David Jr’s car was at risk of repossession, I had to withdraw from my studies, I have endured two (2) surgeries and all this without any financial support from Dave.  I share all of this, friends, because as much as we’ve been through the past year, we are about to face our biggest challenge yet. Our home is being foreclosed on next month.  There have been many attempts to communicate with Dave regarding this issue.  He has thus far refused to communicate and prevent the foreclosure of our home.  As a result, of his failure to sign a mortgage assistance package, the children and I are displaced and we our losing our home.

We need help. People have asked how they can help and I was so overwhelmed that I didn’t know how to answer. We have been surviving on minimal food stamps and the assistance of friends who donated food, money, and bought items from our home that I listed for sale. 

Here’s what I need help with:

If you’re local and have or know someone who has a place to rent, please contact me. We need to go somewhere safe and affordable. 

We are on a list to go into transitional housing but we wouldn’t be able to take our beloved dogs. 

Possibly someone to foster our dogs while we are in transitional housing.

My goals are to stay in this area so my children can graduate from Maize High.

I’m selling more items, help us by purchasing something.

Prayers!! I believe God has been with us every step of this journey! His love endures forever! One day I will share the miracles from this and it will be a great testament to His faithfulness. For now, when I have prayed, I have been called to write this message and humbly accept any blessings you feel led to give.
