Creating memories during Cohens fight with cancer.

Hello, my name is Cohen and I am 4 years old, thank you for visiting my page!
Mummy found a lump on my leg in March and we’ve been having lots of tests to see what it is. On the 19th May they told us that I’ve got a soft tissue cancer called Rhabdomyosarcoma. I’ve had lots more tests to see if it is anywhere else in my body and how we can get rid of it. We now know that it is Stage 4 Metastatic Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma which is very aggressive. I am now considered ‘high risk’, so on Thursday I had my first sleepover at the hospital with mummy to start intense chemotherapy. This will happen in 3 week cycles to help my little body recover. The plan is to have this for 25 weeks, to include radiotherapy, and then have 1 year maintenance chemotherapy. I know I’ll be very looked after in ward
27 at LRI - they have the best doctors, a play therapist who lets me play on the PS4, and all the toys I could ask for! I also have my own chef who will cook me what I want when I want especially my favourite… chicken nuggets!
I really love Toy Story and I have new slippers and pjs to take with me.
Any money that we receive will be for when I’m all better and in between my chemotherapy sessions, so that I can go to my favourite places like Legoland, Alton Towers, Chessington Resort and I also love the beach! Hopefully next year I can go on a plane for our first family holiday abroad. We have now learned all the medical equipment I may need in the future, so any donations will also help towards this. Along the way we would love to raise money for various related charities that helps towards vital research and to support other families facing similar battles.
Thank you for taking the time to read all about me and my challenge ahead. I am a little fighter with a fierce punch and nothing, not even this horrible cancer, will bring me down!
