Cold cot in memory of Cruz

As most of our friends and family know on January 3rd 2022 me and my partner lost our baby boy Cruz. He fought a hard battle but only survived for a total of 7 hours at Queens Medical Centre. It has been a hard 7 months dealing with the passing of our son. Some days are harder then others but we still keep pushing on despite still digging deep to find answers as to what caused our son to lose his precious life. When Cruz passed away we were able to spend more time with him with something called a Cold Cot. Without this our days could of potentially been limited to hours and we wouldn’t be able to have made the memories with our boy like we did. The Cold Cot helped us create memories that we will carry with us for the rest of our lives and they are only a small amount of Cold Cots in many hospitals locally and Uk and Ireland. We have decided to create a fundraiser in courtesy of Abigail’s Footsteps. In which we are on a mission to raise money so we can donate Cold Cots to our local hospital that worked so hard to keep our son with us. “A cold cot is a refrigerated cot that allows parents to spend more time with their deceased baby than would otherwise be possible. The cold cot helps parents to bond with their baby and aids the grieving process.” Any donations little or large will be highly appreciated and will make a big difference in supplying these Cold Cots to our hospitals. We will be doing multiple fundraising events over the coming months and around Christmas time in time for our sons 1st birthday.
