Cold Cot In Memory Of Rose Melina Wheeler

Donation protected
Hello,

As you may know we lost our beautiful daughter Rose unexpectedly on 27th February 2022 when we went to the hospital in labour and they could not find a heart beat.

We did not know anything at the time, about stillbirth. Of course it was a massive shock to us and we got through labour without even knowing what to expect next.

It was soon explained to us we could stay with Rose in the hospital if she was to be kept in a cold cot.

The 72 hours we spent with her were invaluable. We got to treasure our daughter as we had always planned to, kiss her, cuddle her, wash her and change her clothes. This was all due to having a cold cot at the hospital

A cold cot preserved our babies tiny body to allow us to spend this precious time with her

The cold cot we used whilst in hospital was a donation from a previous family that had been through the same thing as us.

Cold cots are expensive, and are a luxury at a hospital. We have since found out not all hospitals have these and they do rely heavily on donations

We would love to help another family get to spend this quality time with there child and we will be trying to raise £2,500 to donate a cold cot to a Hopsital that is in desperate need of one x
