Cole Taylor Needs Knee Surgery
Donation protected
On January 20, 2024 during a ring announcing appearance for his beloved independent wrestling company, Classic City Wrestling, Cole Taylor took one fateful leap from the 40 Watt stage. Upon landing, his knee buckled and completely blew out. But in a sheer act of “heroic stupidity” he hopped and hobbled through the show to help deliver another legendary night of music and wrestling in Athens, Georgia.
Now, as we all know, when Cole does something he does it BIG. And the same rings true for this knee injury. We’re talking fully torn ACL, torn meniscus and fractured tibia. Our man can really tear it up! All in the name of community, art and athletics.
Cole is fiercely dedicated to Classic City Wrestling and a passionate advocate for both independent music and the independent wrestling movement worldwide. In 2023 he stepped down from his varied roles in professional music to focus singularly on advancing CCW and working to build it into one of the premiere promotions in the Southeast.
I know we all want to see Cole’s monumental work continue, so he could use some help right now to quite literally get him back on his feet. Medical bills are looking upwards of $10k including surgery and rehab. Every little bit helps.
To quote Cole, “I’d rather people buy tickets to a Classic City Wrestling show!” But the reality is, helping fix Cole’s broke ass knee is a major contribution to the CCW movement. Because in the end, Cole is Classic City Wrestling. You are Classic City Wrestling. WE ARE ALL CLASSIC CITY WRESTLING!
