My name is Cole Wittmer of Boy Scout Troop 56 on MacDill Airforce Base. I am raising funds for my Eagle Scout project with the Library of Congress and the Veterans Oral History Project. The Veterans Oral History Project is an initiative that has been in place for decades by the Library of Congress with the intent of collecting digital interviews from veterans of all branches of the military and uploading them on the Library of Congress for the sake of preserving their stories. The money raised will be used to purchase USB drives and any other materials that will be needed to conduct the interviews.
