Colin Snodgrass

On Wednesday night, 9/27/23, we lost one of the most amazing individuals to ever walk this Earth. Colin was a light in more lives than he ever knew. His contagious energy and his loving smile were two of his most amazing attributes. His dedication and necessity for adventure paired with his sense of humor and kind heart- made someone that is a rare find. Losing Colin isn’t something that can be put into simple things like words- he was just too big and lived such a life that it can’t be accurately described. It’s a devastating reality that has left his beautiful life partner, Emily, with an empty heart and an extremely difficult and long healing process ahead. His amazing parents, Bob and Rose, and his younger brother, Derek, are left with an irreparable hole in their hearts and lives. If you know the family- you know how tight knit they are. An active family in all realms, from childhood sports turning into family activities, to camping and hunting adventures, the activities and time spent together were active, endless, and loving. The lasting impression that Colin leaves behind in the local hockey and soccer communities is not something that can ever be replaced; his passion and love for sports lives on in friends and the students that he coached. The Snodgrass family is a huge part of many Missoulian’s lives, as well as Emily's family, John, Marjie, and Maggie are in their hometown of Whitefish. The outpouring of friends and family has been incredible- with many people traveling from near and far to be here with Colin’s family and Emily. While nothing can ease the pain that the family and friends are feeling, one thing is for sure, we will all live on and honor Colin by living life to the fullest, enjoying all the good food, and savoring every minute spent with friends and family.
Funds raised will be used to create a memorial and or a fund in the Missoula community to honor the lasting legacy that Colin built ❤️ Emily, Bob, Rose and Derek will all decide as a family in the future as to what that might look like.
Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️
