Our Store Lobby Set up for an on-the-farm dinner prepared by the Meaty Max Sweet Meat team

Collar City Mushrooms is an indoor urban vertical mushroom farm in Lansingburgh, NY. Located at 333 Second Ave, we grow a variety of gourmet and medicinal specialty mushrooms and sell them to local restaurants, markets, and walk-in customers. And we are so much more. We are a community hub, a mycological education center, an art gallery, a poetry and music venue, a meditation and yoga space, and an on-the-farm-dining location. Since opening our doors officially in February of 2021, we have hosted field trips, had music and creativity celebrations curated by Bliss Arts NY, provided meeting space, served dinners, and shared many many mushrooms! We are now about to move into Phase 2 and expand, but we need YOUR HELP! We are working with the SBA to secure a loan to buy the building out of which we are currently operating and working with the City of Troy to receive some grant money to purchase new equipment. We need YOU to help accelerate our growth by infusing our fundraiser with enough mycelium building donations as possible to renovate the second floor and grow even more mushrooms! $20,000 will allow us to immediately construct an additional grow room and bring more mushrooms online within 2 months of purchasing the property. We provide weekly deliveries to over a dozen local restaurants and markets, and demand has continually increased. To match our capacity with what our customers are calling for, we will be building three additional grow rooms, a second lab space, and hiring more team members! This next phase of our operation will be a building stone to further develop the property at 333 Second Ave, development that will culminate in Phase 3: the underground mushroom-themed speakeasy and venue space: The Mushroom Cave. (our goal is to have The Mushroom Cave online in 2025 - it will take a lot of infrastructural improvements to realize.
