Help Colleen Innovate Blended!

Hello, friends! My name is Colleen. I imagine many of you know me in real life, but for those who have never met me-- I am a mom to a fantastic 2-year-old named Tristen, a wife to a hard-working, funny guy named Jeremiah, and I have officially started my own small business!

I have created a gofundme so that I can build my working capital and get my business started this summer (2023).

My life in a short paragraph-

I grew up in Phoenix, AZ with my single mom. We did not come from generational wealth and my mom was a full-time and then some retail worker. I worked hard in high school and was accepted into the University of Arizona where I received my BA in Sociology. After working in the case management and mental health field for a few years, I decided I wanted to get more experience in business and went ALL IN! I graduated from The University of Phoenix in 2019 with a Master's Degree in Business Administration where I achieved a 4.0/4.0 GPA. Upon completing this, I worked with small businesses for nearly 2 years, helping them with their payroll, employment taxes, and human resources. I knew I wanted to start my own business one day and helping these other small businesses invigorated my curiosity.

Now, I'm here in the small town of Moses Lake, WA and I am ready! I have my completed business plan, 3-year financial projections, a strategic plan... gotten business insurance quotes, licenses, permits, and I have ALL THE EAGERNESS I can gather.

I have run my business plans by several people, including successful small business owners. I am confident that I can be operational by August.

The only possible thing holding me back? Not wanting to take out a loan to cover costs! (p.s. yes I do have capital, it's just NOT enough)

I am here, asking you, to help me achieve my goals.

I will be running a food trailer and serving up healthy, delicious options including whole fruit smoothies, nutritional shakes (including meal replacement and protein shakes), and my all-time fave---acai bowls! We don't have these in town yet!
