Celebration of Life: Colleen McCain

Thank you to everyone who supported our goal to afford a venue that fit all who wanted to attend Colleen's Celebration of Life. There was more than 300 people present at the Croatian Cultural Centre, filling the room with love for Colleen. All money raised past the original $3,000 goal is being used to create a bursary in Colleen's name for an Indigenous student studying Occupational Therapy at UBC.

Colleen McCain passed away on November 24th, following a massive stroke. The outpouring of love and support from her friends, family and co-workers has been amazing. Colleen was generous, genuine, compassionate, kind and loving. Colleen had an amazing ability to impact people's lives and that is being reflected by the amount of people who want to attend her Celebration of Life. The outpouring of love is more than our family could ever have anticipated, and in order to accommodate all those who want to join us in celebrating her life, the venue cost is more than we expected. If you are able to contribute a bit to the cost, we would truly appreciate the support.
