Colleen’s COVID-19 Battle

Hello, my name is Paige. I speak on behalf of my mom, Colleen. I’m her eldest daughter (23 y/o) and Jaycee is her youngest. (10 y/o)

My mother, Colleen, has been in the hospital for almost a week and has had COVID even longer. She is 49 with underlying health issues that make her high risk. I had to call 911 due to her being super dehydrated and barely able to walk. The ambulance took her right away. She’s remained at the hospital since. She is on oxygen and getting infusions. But now she has double pneumonia and they are having a hard time getting her oxygen levels up. We’re all having a really hard time believing this is even real.

She obviously had to stop working (as well as myself) due to us getting COVID. I got better but unfortunately she still hasn’t. We have no income coming in right now. Some of the medical bills are already coming through. $10,000 just for 1 alone! Our healthcare system is failing us right now.

My family and I are please asking, if there is any type of donation you could spare for us it’d be a miracle. A Christmas Miracle at that. Our bills are piling up on us and we just have no way of affording them. This is the worst time of the year for us when it’s supposed to be the complete opposite.
