College Fund for Jamie and Christian Bell
Donation protected
Starting another fundraiser for Jamie and Christian Bell my grandsons. There are several people who want to contribute and the original fundraiser is shut down.
This fund is a College fund for the 2 kids. I will setup a 529 college fund for them and manage it as their Grandfather.
My son, Nicholas Bell, died on Saturday, July 27, 2019, in a tragic car crash right outside Dicks Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, CO while we were trying to find parking for a family outing to watch a Lacrosse game. He was 29. His 2 kids were in the car and sustained serious injuries and spent several days in Children's hospital. Nick's girlfriend, Elyse, also visiting from Buffalo, was in the car.
The twins injuries are pretty serious, Jamie has a broken left leg femur, two breaks in the left ankle and lacerations to left elbow. Christian has abdominal injuries and L3 vertebrae fracture.
I was in the car ahead of his with Jacob and Zachary and was the first at the scene of the crash. Jacob, 12, and Zachary, 9 years old, were Nick half-brothers and are Uncles of the twins. Nicholas, his girlfriend and his 2 kids were visiting from Buffalo.
Nick was a wonderful son. He cared for everyone. He was an Afghanistan veteran who served in the Marines for 6 years plus 2 inactive until 2/2017, and he used the GI Bill to fund his degree from Buffalo State College in Computer Information Systems. After graduating in 2017, he did an internship at Healthgrades in Colorado, and then worked for Charter Communications in Colorado. About a year ago Nick moved back to Buffalo, after securing a job at Delaware North, to be with his kids.
Nicholas cared so much for his kids. He would have wanted everything to go to his kids.
