Kasie shares about Rick:
My husband Rick Reynolds passed away Thursday night from severe complications of rheumatoid arthritis related to his heart and lungs. Because of his faith in Jesus, he is now with Jesus. He suffered a tremendous amount of pain over his last years and never complained. He is not suffering now. I am so thankful for what Jesus did on the cross and Rick's belief in that sacrifice. Because of that, I will see him again some day.
He was an amazingly strong man and his will to live was astounding. This past year, he was hospitalized most of the year. He fought consistently to get better. His perseverance was crazy strong. He wouldn't let me help him. He insisted on doing things himself. His attitude towards it all was always good even when I know he had to be crying silently inside. His faith never waivered.
The kids and I desperately need your prayers and will for years to come. I am devastated and though he was ill for so long, this was very unexpected.
Romans 8:18 - For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.
Romans 8: 38-39 - For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord
