College Funds for the Valdez Family

The Walnut Heights' staff and members of the Walnut Creek School District and community are mourning the loss of Cecilla Valdez, wife of our beloved school custodian Rolly Valdez. A young, vibrant mother and public educator who worked with special education students, Cecilla unfortunately lost a lengthy battle with cancer this past October 31. 

Rolly and Cecilla are the loving parents of two teenagers whose college careers are just around the corner. 

To show Rolly how much he means to our community, to honor the memory of Cecilla and to support their family, we are collecting funds to support Rolly's children in the their future endeavors. 

All funds donated will go directly to, and be managed by, Rolly.
