College of Charleston Cafetria Lady Judy Riser

I am sure if you ever ate at the College of Charleston cafeterias you will remember our beloved Miss Judy. From 1974 to 2022 Judy greeted thousands of students as they entered the cafeteria, some of those same students have now sent their own children off to the College! Judy has recently had some unexpected health complications which have led to unexpected financial strain for her. Judy never had children of her own, but she treated each C of C student she encountered as if they were her own children. She became a surrogate mother to many and always was there to listen to students who needed a kind word. She could teach a hospitality course without ever opening a book. Judy is moving to a Senior Care facility this week and will need all the financial assistance she can gather to stay in a safe, healthy environment. Now, in her time of need, if you can find it in your heart to make a donation for Miss Judy, it will go a long way to helping her.
