Educational summer experience

Hi friends and family!
As many of you know, I have been working hard developing my skills as a young musician. As a junior in high school, and with my last summer before applying to colleges coming up, I am in the process of determining my college plans and future career. Since middle school, I've wanted to pursue studies in composition and music technology. This summer will be my chance to gain new experiences that will strengthen my portfolio for the upcoming college/conservatory application process. To give you an idea of my current level of musicianship, I have been playing piano and singing for over 6 years now, and have participated in NYSSMA (New York State School Music Association) adjudications. This is where you perform a solo in front of a judge who adjudicates your performance and gives you feedback. Last year, for voice performance I did the highest level (Level 6) with a score of 96. This year I did Level 5 for piano for the first time, also with a score of 96. This year I am doing Level 6 again for voice, and I am working on next year’s piano piece, for Level 6. I have also been studying music recording for 3 years. In school, I currently participate in the top 2 select choirs and take the Advanced Placement Music Theory class.
As we plan for this summer, I came across an intense two-week camp in composition, at the Berklee College of Music in Boston (one of the top-rated music universities). It would allow me to learn and work with professional musicians and ensembles, and I would leave the camp with a strong portfolio of works that I can use for my college applications. My parents are currently supporting me in attending a different weekend-long program for music engineering at the end of June, also at the Berklee College of Music. The funds given would be used to pay for the tuition and housing of the 2-week composition summer program. I would be so incredibly grateful for any sort of contribution that would help further my musical education and help me delve into a competitive world and field. I strongly believe that being a part of both the music engineering and composition programs would help set me up for success (and set me apart) in attending a top music university as well as set me up for my future music career. (If it matters this also happens to be during my birthday in July so attending would be like an intense bday gift ) Provided is a link to the composition program I would love to attend.
The deadline for tuition payment is June 1st, but programs like these have a very limited capacity that runs on a first-come, first-served basis, so it's best to apply and register early.
Thank you for listening!
