College Roommates Lose Everything in Fire

On Friday, my sister Jaedyn and her four roommates lost everything when a drunk driver crashed into their home, causing a massive fire that completely destroyed it. In just moments, their entire world was turned upside down.

These five young women, all sophomores in college, worked hard to build their independence, balancing school, jobs, and life on their own. Now, they are left with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Their books, clothes, laptops, sentimental items—everything they owned—were lost in the fire.

While we are beyond grateful that they all made it out safely, the road ahead is overwhelming. They now have to find a new place to live(which looks like they’ve been able to arrange! Thankfully), replace their essentials, and somehow stay on track with school in the midst of this devastation.

We are asking for any help you can give to help them start over. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward housing, clothing, school supplies, and basic necessities to help them rebuild their lives. If you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser would mean the world to us.
